How to check the 2022 KCPE results
There are various ways you can use to access the 2022 KCPE results after the official release such as;
- SMS Code
- Online Portal
- School Physical Visit
1. SMS Code
This is the fastest and most convenient method to access the 2022 KCPE results. It involves sending a short SMS with the student’s index number.
Step 1: Top up your line with at least 25 shillings. This works for all networks.
Step 2: Go to the SMS Menu
Step 3: Send the students Index Number to the CODE 20076
Step 4: Wait for the response with the results.
However, you should expect some delay especially if many requests are being sent simultaneously.
The code is accessible across all the major network providers in the country such as Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom.
2. Kenya National Examinations Council Online Portal (KNEC)
You can also check results through the Kenya National Examinations Portal. This is possible if you have access to a computer or a smartphone with an internet connection.
Step 1: Log in to the KNEC Portal
Step 2: Click on the online results tab
Step 3: Input the student’s Index number. Then submit.
Step 4: Wait for the results to show.
The only advantage of checking the results online is that there are no costs involved in the comparison of the SMS
3. School Physical Visit
Alternatively, you can physically visit your former school to collect your results.
